Engineering & Manufacturing
Behind our digital workflow is a dedicated engineering department that brings together engineering expertise, manufacturing knowledge and dental technology.
Our engineers work closely with our technicians throughout the entire process, from digital design and material selection through to milling, 3D printing and finishing. This close relationship allows us to develop, troubleshoot and refine our manufacturing processes in-house, rather than relying on outsourced solutions.
As dental technology continues to evolve, so do we. Our engineering department allows us to continually improve the way we work, introduce new technologies and take on increasingly complex restorative challenges — giving our technicians the tools and support they need to produce exceptional work.
Engineering precision. Dental expertise. One team.
Additive Manufacturing
By investing in multiple 3D printing technologies, we have developed extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities across both DLP and SLA platforms.
This allows us to produce crown, bridge and implant models, occlusal splints, surgical guides, temporary restorations and implant bridge try-ins entirely in-house, giving us greater control over quality, consistency and turnaround times.
Alongside our 3D printing capabilities, we also manufacture a range of tooth-borne and implant-supported restorations incorporating SLM-produced cobalt chrome suprastructures, combining advanced digital manufacturing with the experience and craftsmanship of our technicians and engineers.
High Speed Machining
5-axis milling is one of our core manufacturing processes, and we have invested heavily in a comprehensive range of precision milling equipment and advanced CAM technology.
Using Hyperdent CAM software, our milling centre allows us to manufacture a wide range of restorative materials and indications in-house, including some of the most complex geometries.
Keeping this process in-house gives us complete control from design through to manufacture, helping us maintain consistency, precision and quality, while avoiding the delays and variability that can come with outsourcing.
CAD Design
We are a close-knit team of highly trained dental technicians and engineers, with extensive experience across all aspects of 3Shape and Exocad design software.
The move towards intraoral scanning and the rapid development of new restorative materials have transformed the way we design and manufacture restorations. We have embraced that change, combining digital workflows with the knowledge and experience gained through traditional dental technology.
Each technician has their own dedicated CAD workstation alongside their traditional bench, allowing us to move seamlessly between digital design and hands-on craftsmanship.
